This may be the start of a punk collection of Friday lyrics. Recently I’ve fallen back in love with old punk; Ramones, Sex Pistols, Bad Brains, Minor Threat, etc… It’s amazing how complex a lot of these songs are, lyrically and melodically, after a nice long hiatus. This weeks song takes me back to my skateboarding days, and the album this was from was a staple in my tape/record collection for quite some years. Combining punk, post apocalyptic imagery and a disdain for authority that only a teenager will understand it is quite possibly one of the best tracks of that era…
